The Phantom of the Opera is not a romance.
Dracula is not erotica.
Erik and Count Dracula are VILLAINS, not romantic heroes. Erik is a stalker and kidnapper who has no qualms about torturing and killing people. Dracula is a literal monster who murdered Lucy and metaphorically raped Mina. Neither of them are physically attractive.
