How do you feel about Marius/Cosette (Les Miserables)?
To me Harker/Mina is oddly reminiscent of Raoul/Christine in a sort of sidelong way, though I'm struggling to analyse how. At the end of the story Harker is trying to bring allies to Mina's aid, without being himself the lead character; Mina is, through no desire of her own, more intimate with evil than the man she loves, and is trying to protect him from that threat with stubborn courage. They both end up more or less as minor characters in their own story. Harker is suffering trauma from his past experiences at Dracula's hands with Mina trying to support him (that's more Leroux post-canon fanfic than actual Leroux, to be fair).
I definitely get Mina/Christine vibes, perhaps because neither of them is a typical maidenly character...
