I've become obsessed with a video game that came out in 2007. I haven't been this fixated on a piece of media in a very long time.
I just...the art style! The setting! The atmosphere! The lore! The characters! The plot twist! The double plot twist! *excited squealing*
In case you haven't been on certain Discord servers recently, the game I'm gushing about is BioShock. I'm actually not sure why I like it as much as I do, since it contains several of my trauma triggers—needles, child abuse, and unethical scientific experimentation are the ones I can recall right now, though there are probably more. Then again, there is a bit where you get to kill enemies while Tchaikovsky's "Waltz of the Flower" plays in the background. Yeah.
