This author's note is not the worst I've ever read, but I refuse to leave any part of this fic unsporked, so here you go.

UPDATE!!
Erik: You said that already.
Hi Guys! I thought it was about time I give an update and explanation for my recent apparent abandonment of Love Upon the Sea. First, I wish to apologize for this. Secondly, I hope that you will all continue to read my story when I do post more of it. I have been working on ideas and plots for further chapters.
Christine: That's good, since there's been no plot in this fic so far.
However, due to recent medical issues with my sons it has been impossible for me to write the chapters with any sense of order.
All: *burst out laughing*
(For those who are chuckling…I can understand!
Raoul: *stops laughing* She can hear us?
I need to do a better job in editing,
Erik: That's an understatement.
have a terrible time with commas
Christine: As you just demonstrated.
and seem to irritate ones with my choice of present tense writing.
Raoul: I have no problem with present tense--it's your frequent tense changes that annoy me.
LOL!) But in all honesty, I have been so focused on my 4 sons, surgeries and emotional issues that there has been little time for E/C, R/C or J/M. I have a longing to return to this tale but my hands are tied.
All this aside, I am sure you all have so many other stories in your head that rereading will be the only possible solution once I do post. But I wanted to assure you that I have not given up or abandoned our daringly, sexy pirates and their exploits.
I have a strange feeling this author doesn't know what real pirates' lives were like.
With summer vacation close at hand, I should have a few chapters out for you very soon. Thanks for your patience and understanding as my family goes through this difficult time.
